(Pro)letariat Unit is a graphic study of collective forms of living, contextually and chronologically situated alongside the goals of creating an utopist worker population following the founding of The People's Republic of China, and projecting toward visions for collective housing within present and future cities. This website documents the close readings of spatial configuration within the dwelling unit as well as its relation to the communal whole, the contents of which is to result in a printed catalogue of forms.
